What is Southland?

We welcome you to the 54th Annual Southland Pre-Med Conference hosted by Alpha Epsilon Delta, USC's premier pre-medical honor society. The Southland Conference is AED's largest annual networking event designed to give students the opportunity to network with some of the best physicians in Los Angeles. In addition, students can learn more about the pre-med process through our physician-led workshops. This event is open not only to AED members but to all pre-medical students at USC who have a desire to learn more about the medical journey.

Relationships created here with quality physicians provide valuable guidance as we embark on a career in medicine. When hearing them share their valuable experiences, knowledge, and time, we receive a unique level of insight into the medical profession. It is also a great opportunity to meet physicians who can provide potential shadowing, research opportunities, and letters of recommendation. Admission and lunch is provided free of charge, and students have the opportunity to obtain raffles & prizes such as a 50% discount on MCAT prep.
